Nancy Drew Green and Orange
This was Tori’s Halloween costume for 2007.  She chose it while we were in watching the movie and I had to work mostly from memory and several small pictures.

She chose S4675 for the dress and B4999 for the jacket and we walked away from Hancock Fabrics and Joann Fabrics with a nice lightweight linen feel pinkish-red fabric for the dress and a green slubby fabric for the jacket.
Below: the partial jacket muslin.  We re-drew the back curve to get the correct angle.
The jacket is fully lined, has no shoulder pads, and closes with hooks and eyes down the front and a snap underneath the decorative button at the collar.

The dress is sleeveless, trimmed around the hips with fabric matching the jacket, and the waist decoration is part of an old necklace we took apart.

She wore a black headband and the shoes we found at Target.
