I used the Sensibility.com Tea Gown pattern. The rose colored fabric is silk dupioni I found on clearance at Joann Fabrics. I knew it'd be perfect for this dress. The lace I found at Hancock fabrics and bought the last of the bolt in two sections.
The pattern went together easily and I'm very hapy with the result.
I made this dress for a reason. For our 15th anniversary, my husband and I decided to take a cruise -- one that had 2 formal nights and I immediately decided to make a tea dress to take for them. We had a great time, and I recieved several compliments on my dress.
