I found this gorgeous fabric at Hancock Fabrics and knew exactly what I wanted to make with it. I wanted a dress like the gold dress.
I used Simplicity 4092, which was surprisingly simple to make. I made it front opening, using large snaps on the left side of the stomacher. This ended up being done the week before Costume Con 2010 and went with me. I had a blast wearing it!
